Primrose Promises – Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Primrose Promises. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of flower preservation services in resin (the “Service”) to you (“you,” “your,” “Client”). By placing an order or sending us your flowers, you accept these Terms.
2. Services
​
• I preserve flowers in resin for any occasion (weddings, memorials, special bouquets, etc.).
• Each piece is handcrafted, and variations in colour, texture, bubbles, or shape are part of the process.
• I do not guarantee perfectly clear resin or identical replicas of your flowers.
3. Condition & Quality of Flowers
​
• You are responsible for sending the flowers in good condition. Wilted, mouldy, or damaged flowers may result in a substandard piece.
• I reserve the right to refuse or renegotiate the order if the flowers received are not suitable for preservation.
• Once flowers are received, if there is a critical issue, I will communicate with you to find a resolution (e.g. replacement, partial refund).
4. Colour Changes & Natural Variations

• Flowers may change colour (darken, brown, fade), shrink, or lose vibrancy during the preservation process.
• Such changes are natural and not considered a defect.
5. Booking, Payment & Deposits
​
• A deposit of £10 is required to secure any commission. The balance is due upon booking your date.
• Once your flowers are with me and I’m starting the drying process, 50% payment (or full payment) of your final total is required.
• I will not begin work until payment is cleared. This can be paid through bank transfer or PayPal.
6. Turnaround Time
​
• Typical lead time is 3-4 months depending on drying, curing, and workload.
• This is an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery date; delays may occur.
7. Shipping Your Flowers
​
• You must package and ship your flowers safely and in a timely manner.
• You bear all shipping costs and risks until flowers arrive at my studio.
• We recommend using next day delivery with tracked shipping and adequate protective packaging.
8. Refunds & Cancellations
​
• Deposit is non-refundable if you cancel.
• If work has started (e.g., resin casting begun), no refunds will be given.
• In rare cases (e.g., flowers are unusable), I’ll offer options: redesign, replacement, or partial refund.
9. Customer-Supplied Items
​
• If you provide additional items (ribbons, charms, laminated photographs, etc.), we’ll try to embed them, but we cannot guarantee perfect preservation.
• Some materials may not react well with resin.
10. Design & Artistic Discretion
​
• You may suggest design preferences, but I reserve the final artistic say to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
11. Care & Longevity
​
• Resin pieces may amber slightly over time, especially with UV exposure.
• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and extreme heat.
• Handle with care — resin can chip if dropped.
12. Liability Limitations
​
• I am not liable for:
• Damage or loss during your shipping of flowers.
• Natural changes in flower colour or shape.
• Ageing or minor cosmetic flaws in resin.
• The maximum liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service.
13. Intellectual Property & Photography
​
• I may photograph your piece during or after creation for my portfolio / marketing unless you explicitly request us not to.
• You retain ownership of your flowers (unless otherwise agreed) — but Primrose Promises owns the final resin piece design.
14. Consumer Protection & Fairness
​
• I comply with UK consumer law. Terms are designed to be fair and transparent.
• I do not use overly complex legal jargon; I aim for clarity and fairness.
• Liability exclusions are reasonable and fair, in line with guidance under UK law.
15. Changes to Terms
​
• I may update these Terms occasionally.
• Any major changes will be notified to you in writing or via our website before they apply.
16. Acceptance
​
By placing an order, paying a deposit, or sending us your flowers, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
